Jae Ha returns to the palace to make arrangements for his brother's funeral, and formally ascends the throne. Hang Ah appeases her father and wants to stay in the South to help Jae Ha. The Secretary-General informes the King about Eun Gyu Tae's strange death, and that he receives Bong Goo's text message and understand that their own mistakes had led to the death of the King and Queen. Jae Shin regainedconsciousness in the hospital, but has lost her memory. It is also then that they learned that she has become paralyzed.

Hang Ah's father discovers that his daughter suffers a miscarriage. He receives news of Gyu Tae claiming the royal position in this matter and do not bother to give any explanation. He even persuades Jae Ha to just leave Hang Ah, so as the royal family could rid themselves of the scandal. On the other hand, the North Korea commander requests to Hang Ah toexpose Jae Ha, but is cleverly rejected by Hang Ah.

When Lee Sang Yeol sends a sniper to assassinate Jae Ha, Kim Nam Il immediately reports about the mysterious Myung Ho, but he accidentally learns that Myung Ho's action programmes have already alerted the Sang Yeol. Jae Ha questiones Gyu Tae after receiving Club M's call but Gyu Tae requestes him to cancel daily schedule due to safety reasons. Jae Ha do not heed Gyu Tae's advice and sends him away.
