Overview

The story takes place during World War II. Vitay Georgina is enrolled by her father, General Vitay, in the completely closed, residential Calvinist Matula Girls' Institute in the town of Árkod, on the outskirts of the country. He does not tell Gina why, as her new classmates would accept her, but after she fights with them over a silly game and betrays them, she is ostracised.

Episode one

In the last year of World War II, General Vitay, one of the leaders of the Hungarian resistance movement, hid his daughter, Gina, in a church educational institution along the border. Gina is a cheerful girl who loves the exciting life in Budapest. She finds difficult to adhere to the strict world of the institute, and in addition, with an irritated outburst, she puts her schoolmates in a difficult position, therefore they exclude her amongst themselves. Episode two

Gina can’t get used to institutional life, so she escapes from the evening event of the school’s patron, Horn Mini. Fortunately, Mr. Kőnig finds her and takes her back. When General Vitay becomes aware of the escape, he reveals to his daughter the reasons why he chose this boarding school for her. Gina has a heavy heart, but she listens to her father because she understands that she must stay here and that she needs the love of her schoolmates.

Episode three

The residents of the institution are excited by unexpected events: the principal’s aquarium is broken, while the records of some students also disappear. Students receive strange news, many are overwhelmed with serious problems. Gina is notified that she cannot travel home for the Christmas holidays. Bánki, to cheer her up, organises a special gift for her which arrives late.

Episode four

Gina’s love, Lieutenant Kuncz, secretly shows up at the institution and tells the girl to run away to see her father who is ill. Gina doesn’t recognize the real intentions of the handsome soldier, but luckily Abigel is on the lookout. It becomes clear that the girl is not safe, so the opponents come up with a bold plan in which Abigel is also revealed.
